Play School - Putting It All Together

Like puzzles, many aspects of a child's life involves different pieces that are put together to make the whole. In this series of Play School we explore the idea of parts and whole and different ways of putting it all together.

There are many parts to routines like getting dressed, having breakfast or getting ready to go out. Play can involve putting things together - building and constructing with blocks, drawing a picture or telling a story with toys. Many activities in homes and communities, such as cooking, gardening, washing, and tidying up, need us to put things together in certain ways and in a certain order.

Join us throughout this series as we put together recipes, a broom scarecrow, indoor and outdoor scenes and all sorts of things to play with! We also look through the windows to see some children making crafty dress ups, being part of a school band, preparing homemade pizzas, creating cardboard box cars and setting up a lemonade stand!
