What's left behind the scenes
- Before becoming a comedic actor, the lead actor Ben Miller studied at Cambridge himself. By a strange turn of events, his co-star lived in the house that is depicted in the series as the home of the characters played by Frances de la Tour and Ben Miller.
- It is one of the few series (along with 'Grantchester', 2014-2024) that was filmed openly on the grounds of the university and the city of Cambridge with official permission from the local administration.
