What's left behind the scenes
- Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the table read before filming began was conducted remotely; no cast parties were held during production, and Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Jean Smart kept their distance from one another until the filming process actually began.
- During the production of the series, Richard Gilliland (1950-2021), the husband of actress Jean Smart, passed away. There was about a week left until filming ended, and the actress decided to finish filming first before attending to family matters.
