What's left behind the scenes
- When Peppa Pig and her family are in the car, no one is buckled in. This scene was so heavily criticized that the project's producers ordered seatbelts to be drawn on all characters. Subsequently, only the redrawn versions of the corresponding episodes were aired.
- The popularity of the series led to the opening of a 'Peppa Pig World' themed area at an amusement park in Hampshire, England, in 2011, as well as Peppa Pig theme parks in Florida, USA, and Bavaria, Germany.
- Some episodes of the animated series were not shown in Australia. These episodes were originally created to teach young children not to be afraid of spiders. However, Australia is home to very dangerous species of spiders, and the producers did not want anyone to decide to try and befriend one after being influenced by what they saw on screen.
