What's left behind the scenes
- Initially, 13 episodes were planned for the first season, but the show became so popular that the season was extended to 19 episodes.
- Robin Williams (1951-2014) appeared on the show twice. Both times, the conversation revolved around homosexual penguins and the Genie from the animated film "Aladdin" (John Musker and Ron Clements, 1992).
- Two episodes had to be interrupted because a fly landed in a guest's glass. In June 2013, this happened while Steve Carell was talking to Chris O'Dowd. In October 2014, Emma Thompson had to interrupt her conversation with actor and singer Luke Evans to fish a fly out of his glass of red wine.
- This was actress Carrie Fisher's final appearance on the talk show. Three weeks after the broadcast, on December 29, 2016, Fisher passed away at the age of 60. Fisher appeared on Norton's talk show twice. Furthermore, she was one of the few guests who had also participated in Graham Norton's previous show, which aired from July 1998 to March 2002.
