Short description

Two siblings - an idealistic teenage boy and his naive younger sister - are forced to pilot an abandoned Jaeger across a hostile landscape in a desperate attempt to find their missing parents.

What's left behind the scenes

The series introduces the concept of an unarmed training Jaeger for the first time.
In one of the episodes, it is revealed that there is a secret Jaeger piloting mode (called 'ghost piloting'), where the pilot connects to the memories of previous pilots to control the Jaeger. When Taylor attempts to find past instances of ghost piloting, several pilots' names appear on the display. Two of them were played by Idris Elba and Charlie Hunnam in the original 2013 blockbuster 'Pacific Rim' by Guillermo del Toro.
