What's left behind the scenes
- For Maksim Vitorgan, Ingeborg Dapkunaite, Pavel Tabakov, Nikolay Fomenko, and Aglaia Tarasova, this is not their first collaboration with Alexander Tsypkin: they all participated in the writer's literary and theatrical project 'BesprintsYpnye Chteniya' (Unprincipled Readings), where actors and authors read contemporary Russian prose from the stage.
- According to Alexander Tsypkin, approximately 70% of the stories in the series actually happened at various times to the residents of Patriarch's Ponds and the surrounding area: including the case of a husband who brought home a store-bought catch from a "fishing trip," and a man who, failing to recognize a former lover, pretended to be his own twin brother.
