Peter Benison (born April 28, 1950 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian cameraman.

During his studies at McGill University, Benison met cameraman and special effects artist Wally Gentleman, so he decided to become a cameraman himself. Benison debuted in 1981 as chief cameraman for the Canadian comedy Ups & Downs by Paul Almond. Since then, he has worked for both Canadian and American films, mainly shooting television films, including Taken Away - Icy Prison, Death on a Summer Night, and Kevin - Alone for All.
