His writing style often leans into family stories, working-class backgrounds and mens mental health, for example. He is part of a 2x nominated Best Music Video crew for Honestly, Honestly by Harry Pinkman. Kyle is one of the founders and part of the Birmingham based filmmaking collective Filler Arc.
