Clara Ferri is a filmmaker from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. She has worked on independent film sets in Italy and New York in the camera, lighting, and grip departments. After meeting Irish cinematographer and mentor Seamus McGarvey, BSC, she shadowed him on the set of Mussolini – Son of the Century (Joe Wright, 2025). She is interested in telling stories that bridge different worlds and realities, blend genres and experiment with cinematic language to explore character-driven films focused on connection and its absence, alienation and individual consciousness. She is also fascinated by the role of religious faith in the modern world. After earning a BA in Film Studies and Production in Belfast, NI, and Kingston, CA, she is currently pursuing an MFA at New York University Tisch School of the Arts.© ACMODASI, 2010-2026
