Evelyn Ribeiro Teixeira is a Brazilian filmmaker and photographer, and for the past eight years has been capturing stories through photography. in 2023 she expanded this passion into cinema, taking on the roles of director, producer, and screenwriter in her first film, The Dreaminess at Hotel California. Her visual language blends classical and contemporary influences, exploring themes such as mystery, romance, ambiguity, the perception of time, dreams, and human contradictions, transforming sensations into narratives that linger in the audience’s memory. Among her inspirations are Alfred Hitchcock and Vince Gilligan, artists who have shaped her vision for creating immersive atmospheres, tension-driven storytelling, and deeply layered characters.
