Karla Perica (Zagreb, 1997) is a a (screen)writer, filmmaker, poet and critic working in the game development industry as a narrative designer and 3D artist. She graduated in Transmedia Dramaturgy from VERN’ University and in English Studies and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is a member of Kinoklub Zagreb, Blank Film Incubator, and Croatian Screenwriters and Playwrights Guild. Her work focuses on themes of interpersonal relationships, digital intimacy, and the absurdity of everyday life. She has made several short hybrid films, and [Clouds: Ahead] is her first mid-length experimental documentary film.
