Rose Sutton, of full Syrian-Jewish descent, is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker specializing in directing, producing, and photography. A recent graduate of NYU Tisch’s Film & Television program as a Tisch Scholarship recipient, her work explores emotional complexity, and the interplay between lived experience—past, present, and imagined—and artistic expression.

Born in Los Angeles and raised across shifting homes after her parents' divorce, Rose developed a deep appreciation for storytelling that embraces nuance, abstraction, and collaboration. Her style leans into bold visual experimentation, often merging music, movement, and layered imagery to evoke feelings that resist traditional narrative.
