Nyala Thomas – creatively known as Nyalarey – has an MFA from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts with a concentration in Film Producing and interest in Cinematography. She has found cinema to offer the ultimate explorative outlet of human complexities, experiences and relationships. The isolating feeling of growing up in a nuclear family of immigrants led Nyalarey to pursue stories relating to the human condition. She explores interpersonal relationships and uses them as a mirror to gain deeper insights into her own identity.
