Seán Leahy is an award-nominated Irish director and screenwriter developing drama-based projects whether short, feature or HETV.A member of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland, Writers Guild of Ireland, and the Irish Film and Television Academy, his films have screened at both BAFTA & IFTA qualifying festivals.
His work focuses on narrative storytelling, writing and directing films that are character-driven, visually grounded, and emotionally resonant. He's currently developing new projects whilst continuing to support grassroots cinema in Cork as evident with his position as Events Manager for The People’s Picturehouse Cork.
