Vinny Balbo

Originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, Vinny Balbo was raised by his two artistically-inclined parents and was surrounded by multimedia art and design from birth. From an early age, Vinny would take his parents' camcorder and create short films: a passion that has not lost any momentum to this day.

At age 10, Vinny began to train his craft by acting with several local studios specializing in improv and musical theater. Throughout his teenage years, Vinny performed in several local musicals and plays, discovering his passion for dance. Vinny attended Perpich Center for Arts Education, where he was classically trained in Contemporary Dance & Ballet.

Vinny was accepted into The California Institute of the Arts, where he studied acting and dance for only a single semester before leaving the school and moving to Hollywood to begin his career.
