Masakazu Hishida (菱田 正和, Hishida Masakazu, born October 21, 1972) is a Japanese anime director and lyricist born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He is a member of the Japan Animation Creators Association (JAniCA). He also works under the aliases of Jo Aoba (青葉 譲, Aoba Jō), Hippocampus (日歩冠星, Hippokanposu) and Sakura Gojo (五城 桜, Gojō Sakura).
