Allu Arjun is an Indian actor and entrepreneur who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Born on April 8, 1982, in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, he is the son of film producer Allu Aravind and the grandson of actor Allu Ramalingaiah.

After appearing as a child artist in films like *Vijetha* (1985) and making a dancer cameo in *Daddy* (2001), he made his debut as a lead actor in K. Raghavendra Rao's romantic drama *Gangotri* (2003). He subsequently appeared in films including *Aarya* (2004), *Bunny* (2005), *Desamuduru* (2007), and *Parugu* (2008), *Aarya 2* (2009), the ensemble drama *Vedam* (2010), *Julayi* (2012), *Race Gurram* (2014), *S/O Satyamurthy* (2015), the historical epic *Rudhramadevi* (2015), *Sarrainodu* (2016), *Duvvada Jagannadham* (2017), and *Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo* (2020).

He attained pan-Indian stardom portraying Pushpa Raj in Sukumar's action drama franchise *Pushpa: The Rise* (2021) and its sequel *Pushpa 2: The Rule* (2024). For his performance in *Pushpa: The Rise*, he became the first Telugu actor to receive the National Film Award for Best Actor. He is also the recipient of six Filmfare Awards South, three Nandi Awards, and multiple South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). Outside of acting, he is involved in the theatre business through AAA Cinemas and Allu Cinemas.
