Shari Shattuck is an American actress, author and former model best known for her roles in daytime soap operas and 1980s–1990s action and horror feature films. She has appeared in over 200 stage, film, and television productions. In addition to her screen career, she is a successful novelist who has published multiple mystery and fiction series. Shattuck initially worked as an Elite model, appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine in April 1980. She also starred in the 1982 music video for the hit song "Caught Up in You" by .38 Special.
