What's left behind the scenes
- Before the final credits, the words 'Dedicated to Diane' appear on the screen. This refers to Diane Keaton, who starred alongside Olivia Wilde in Jessie Nelson's romantic comedy 'Love the Coopers' (2015). Speaking at the film's premiere in Los Angeles, Wilde shared a few warm words about Keaton.
- Amy Adams, Paul Rudd, and Tessa Thompson were initially part of the cast, but due to delays, they left the project, forcing the filmmakers to cast other actors.
- The apartment sets were constructed in a studio; the interior design ideas were borrowed from real apartments that the filmmakers had seen in San Francisco.
- Director Olivia Wilde (who also played Angela) decided to cast Seth Rogen as Joe after appearing in his series 'The Movie Studio' (2025-).
