Short description
A live broadcast of a late-night talk show in 1977 goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms.
What's left behind the scenes
- The character played by Ian Bliss is based on illusionist James Randi, who is also known for debunking paranormal phenomena and offering large sums of money to anyone who can prove their psychic abilities under controlled conditions.
- David Dastmalchian landed the role when directors and screenwriters Cameron Kerns and Colin Kerns read his article about horror on regional television channels in Fangoria magazine.
- Ian Bliss was initially cast in a different role, but the actor who was supposed to play Carmichael suddenly left the project, and Bliss was given his role with only four days left to prepare.
