Short description

Ali G unwittingly becomes a pawn in the evil Chancellor's plot to overthrow the Prime Minister of Great Britain. However, instead of bringing the Prime Minister down, Ali is embraced by the nation as the voice of youth and 'realness', making the Prime Minister and his government more popular than ever.

What's left behind the scenes

The town was initially named Staines, but in May 2012 it was changed to Staines-upon-Thames, partly due to its negative depiction in this film.
At the beginning of the film, when the grandmother enters Ali’s room, a poster can be seen on the wall depicting American wrestler and actor “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
