Short description
When an old acquaintance is murdered, Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax, to help. In partnership with Marybeth Medina, they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.

- The story Braxton (played by Jon Bernthal) tells the woman about the dog and munchkins from "The Wizard of Oz" is true: the terrier was paid significantly more than the little people actors.
- The role of Justine was taken over by actress Allison Robertson, replacing Alison Wright, who played the character in the first film of the franchise, Gavin O'Connor's thriller "Retribution" (2016); however, Robertson still performed the character's voice using a computer-generated version of Wright's.
