Short description
As adults, best friends Julien and Sophie continue the odd game they started as children -- a fearless competition to outdo one another with daring and outrageous stunts. While they often act out to relieve one another's pain, their game might be a way to avoid the fact that they are truly meant for one another.

- The original French title was “Games of Children” (“Jeux d'enfants”), and the phrase “Love me if you dare” was coined by the American distributors.
- During filming, Guillaume Canet was married to Diane Kruger, so the romance between the actor and his co-star, Marion Cotillard, remained confined to the screen. However, four years later (by which time Canet had separated from Kruger), Guillaume and Marion began dating in real life.
- The film is dedicated to Gerard and Sonia, Jan Samuel’s adoptive parents. However, they both died in a car accident a week before the film’s release.
- The song “La Vie En Rose” by Édith Piaf is performed in the film by French singer Zazie.
