Short description

In Paris, two cops are competing for the vacant job of chief of police, in the middle of the search for a gang of violent thieves. The movie is directed by Olivier Marchal, a former police officer who spent 12 years with the French police before creating this story, taken in part from real events of the 1980s.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Olivier Marchal is familiar with police work firsthand – he worked as a police officer himself in his youth.
  • The film became the third full-fledged joint work in the careers of Daniel Otaya and Gérard Depardieu.
  • The address 36 Quai des Orfèvres is the address of the headquarters of the French criminal police.
