Short description
In 1980s Naples, an awkward teen struggling to find his place experiences heartbreak and liberation after he's inadvertently saved from a freak accident by football legend Diego Maradona.
What's left behind the scenes
- Director, screenwriter, and producer Paolo Sorrentino spent many years collecting memories of his loved ones, friends, and parents, and only then began writing the screenplay, working in his usual manner – very quickly, so it took him only 2 weeks, as he used the notes he had made during the preparatory period.
