Short description

Astronaut Scorch Supernova finds himself caught in a trap when he responds to an SOS from a notoriously dangerous alien planet.

What's left behind the scenes

  • This is the first film from Rainmaker Entertainment to be released in theaters, and also the first film from the studio shot in 3D.
  • In the cartoon, planet Earth is called a class “M” planet—a reference to the series “Star Trek” (1966-1969). The cartoon also uses a Vulcan greeting.
  • When the General destroys Halley's Comet, it has a long tail. The tail could only appear when close to the Sun, and not at a distance of '50 years from Earth,' as the General claims.
  • Whenever two characters’ last names are said in succession in the film, they match the names of famous directors, for example: “Peter! Jackson! Detain him!” or “James! Cameron! Don’t let him go!”
