Short description

It's Senior year at East Great Falls. Annie, Kayla, Michelle, and Stephanie decide to harness their girl power and band together to get what they want their last year of high school.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The first film in the 'American Pie' franchise that doesn't contain any nudity, which seems rather strange considering the nature of previous installments in the franchise.
  • Initially, the producers (Joseph P. Genier, Karen Gorodetsky, Adam Hertz, Abby Lessanu, Chris Moore, Craig Perry, Warren Zide) insisted on including male nudity in the film, and director Mike Elliott even shot one such scene (using a prosthetic penis), but it was cut during editing.
  • The first film in the American Pie franchise that contains no nudity at all, which seems quite strange given the nature of previous installments in the franchise.
  • The first film in the franchise in which Eugene Levy does not appear as Jim's father.
  • Initially, the producers (Joseph P. • According to screenwriter David H. Steinberg, the film's script was written just a year after the release of John Putch's comedy 'American Pie Presents: The Book of Love' (2009), but work on it continued for another ten years. Initially, it was intended to be another comedy about sex-obsessed teenagers, but with the arrival of new screenwriters, the gender of the main characters gradually shifted to female.
