The crew of the merchant ship Demeter attempts to survive the ocean voyage from Carpathia to London as they are stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship.

- The image of Dracula was inspired by one of the versions of Count Orlok's appearance for F.W. Murnau's film "Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror".
- The image of Dracula was borrowed from one of the variations of Count Orlok's appearance for Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's film "Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror."
- While working in Hollywood, Bragi F. Schut met a man who had previously worked on the film "Dracula" (1992). He became interested in the model of the ship "Demetr", which was used in the film, and began writing a script about a vampire on a ship in the spirit of the early films of the "Alien" franchise.
