- When Sofia Coppola was developing the script for the 2003 drama 'Lost in Translation' with future actors, Rashida Jones played the role of Charlotte (in the film played by Scarlett Johansson). When casting for 'The Last Drop,' Coppola remembered Jones and cast her as Laura.
