Short description

Red Riding Hood is training in the group of Sister Hoods, when she and the Wolf are called to examine the sudden mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel.

Hayden Panettiere voiced the Hat, although initially it was assumed that the Hat would speak with the voice of Anne Hathaway. According to screenwriter Corey Edwards, they decided to find another voice actress due to Hathaway's recent successes.
The witch's house at the beginning of the cartoon is modeled after the motel managed by Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller 'Psycho' (1960).
Nikki Flippers turned out to be the last character voiced by David Ogden Stiers in his life.
