Short description
Camille's life as a lonely suburban teenager changes dramatically when she befriends a group of girl skateboarders. As she journeys deeper into this raw New York City subculture, she begins to understand the true meaning of friendship as well as her inner self.
What's left behind the scenes
- Director Crystal Moselle met the skater girls on a subway train. Initially, she made a short film about them for the Italian clothing brand Miu Miu.
- Jaden Smith was the only member of the cast who needed a stunt double for the skateboarding scenes.
