Short description

An environmental analyst is asked by the police to determine if two deaths by hydrogen sulfide poisoning are an accident - or a murder. But when he meets a young woman at both sites, a scientific mystery begins.

What's left behind the scenes

In 1814, the famous mathematician Laplace proposed a thought experiment that later became known as "Laplace's demon." The demon is a hypothetical entity capable of perceiving the location and speed of every particle in the Universe at any given moment, which automatically allows it to predict the evolution of that particle both in the future and in the past.
