What's left behind the scenes
- Most of the preparation time for filming was spent searching for a house with the atmosphere the filmmakers needed. The search took 4 months.
- The film was shot in 18 days and almost entirely in chronological order.
- The film's title translates to "Servants of Satan".
- Joko Anwar admitted in an interview that, after watching the film "Slave of Satan" as a child, he decided to become a director. Following his debut feature film "Johnny's Promise," Anwar spent many years persuading Rapi Films to make a remake of "Slave of Satan" and hire him as the director.
