Initially, it was planned to make an anime series, however, the success of the film "Godzilla: Resurgence" at the Japanese box office convinced the creators of the expediency of releasing three full-length animated films.
A second Godzilla appears at the end of the film. It is the largest Godzilla in history at the time of the film's release – the monster's height exceeds 300 meters.
