Short description
In Madrid, Spain, a mysterious serial killer ruthlessly murders his victims by recreating the first appearance of several comic book superheroes. Cosme, a veteran police inspector who is about to retire, works on the case along with the tormented inspector David Valentín and his own son Jorge Elías, a nerdy young man who owns a comic book store.
What's left behind the scenes
- Many characters in the film are named after well-known Spanish comic book publishers who have the right to publish DC and Marvel comics in Spain and Mexico – these are Novaro, Vid, Vertice, Bruguera and Norma. The residential complex where Victor Vid lives is called Surco. A Spanish publishing house that owned Marvel comics in the early 1980s also bore that name.
