Short description

A determined young woman and a damaged occultist risk their lives and souls to perform a dangerous ritual that will grant them what they want.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The house where the action takes place was filmed in two locations. A country house in Ireland (exterior shots) and a house in the suburbs of Dublin (interior shots) served this purpose.
  • Director Liam Gavin had only 20 days to film the movie.
  • The film's protagonist performs a ritual named after the Egyptian magician Abramelin. It was performed in its time by some Gnostics, including the famous Aleister Crowley (1875-1947). Through this ritual, a person could summon their guardian angel.
  • The original title of the film translates to "Dark Song" or "Song of Darkness".
