Brian Cox became the third actor from the 'Hannibal Lecter' franchise to play in films about Winston Churchill (1874-1965). In Joe Wright's British dramatic biopic, Gary Oldman played the role of this statesman and politician. In Richard Attenborough's 'Young Winston' (1972), Anthony Hopkins played David Lloyd George (1896-1945), Churchill's mentor and one of his predecessors as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
