Short description

A visit to a natural history museum proves catastrophic for two high school rivals, an overachiever and a jock, when an ancient Aztec statue casts a spell that causes them to switch bodies and see exactly what it's like to walk in the other's shoes.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Ozzy Osbourne's song "Goodbye to Romance" plays at the school prom. Ozzy's wife, Sharon, plays the mother of Woody in the film.
  • The Yale University brochure and letter that the viewer sees in Nell's room are genuine.
  • Nell's alarm clock plays Elton John's "Candle in the Wind." The same song plays in Woody's car. Elton John is the film's executive producer, and his longtime partner David Furnish is a producer.
  • An interview is not required for admission to Yale University. Many students are successfully admitted without a single interview. Nell could simply have canceled hers.
  • Ozzy Osbourne's song 'Goodbye to Romance' plays at the school prom. Ozzy's wife, Sharon, plays Woody's mother in the film.
  • The film was released in Italy under the title "Adam and Eve."
  • Nell's alarm is set to the tune of Elton John's "Candle in the Wind." The same song plays in Woody's car. Elton John is an executive producer of the film, and his long-time partner David Furnish is a producer.
