A fashion designer and his CIA agent business partner must join forces to stop a group of terrorists from smuggling explosives in counterfeit jeans during the handover of Hong Kong.
What's left behind the scenes
- Hong Kong action star, actor and director Sammo Hung participated in the work on the film. Many fight scenes were cut from the film, and a couple of plot lines were significantly shortened. The fight between the hero played by Jean-Claude Van Damme and the character played by Australian actor and stuntman Michael Miller was more than halved during editing. Upon closer inspection, you can notice that the fight took place in different parts of the ship. The fight between the characters of Jeff Wolfe and Van Damme suffered the most during editing (cut footage can be seen in the corresponding section on the DVD release).
