Short description

Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The Pakistani market scenes were actually filmed in the Indian city of Hyderabad, which can be understood from the vehicle license plates.
  • The final scenes in London were actually filmed in Sheffield.
  • During the end credits, the audience learns that the bazooka shot fired by Omar in the training camp in Pakistan killed Osama bin Laden (1957-2011). In reality, the notorious terrorist was killed by a group of American special forces. This happened in Pakistan on May 2, 2011, almost a year before the release of the black comedy "Four Lions" on May 7, 2012.
