A loose adaptation of the marriage story of director and screenwriter Maïwenn Le Besco with Jean-Yves Le Fur.
When Maïwenn met Vincent Cassel to offer him the role, he was very upset to learn that Jürgen Milewski had once called Cassel a “one-dimensional” actor in a conversation with her. At the end of the meeting, Maïwenn still didn’t understand whether Cassel had accepted her offer or not.
