Short description

Nemo Nobody leads an ordinary existence with his wife and 3 children; one day, he wakes up as a mortal centenarian in the year 2092.

What's left behind the scenes

At the beginning of the film, a newspaper states that the old man is turning 118, when it should be 117, as it was the year 2092 and he was born in 1975.
The pre-production stage lasted a year, and post-production took fifteen months.
Van Dormael's daughters appeared as angels in one of the scenes.
The voice of the 118-year-old man also belongs to Jared Leto, without the use of computer technology.
The street where Nemo's parents first met is called Butterfly Lane. This is a reference to the "butterfly effect" (a term in natural sciences meaning the property of some chaotic systems: a small influence on the system can have large and unpredictable consequences elsewhere and at another time).
The film's soundtrack was the final cinematic work of the renowned Belgian musician and composer Pierre Van Dormael (the director's biological brother), who passed away from cancer on September 3, 2008.
