Short description
After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
What's left behind the scenes
- As a child, director Dave Green was a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and wore a Donatello costume.
- Casey Jones is shown for the first time without his traditional hairstyle (short hair on the sides and front, long in the back). Shredder is shown with a beard for the first time – he is usually clean-shaven.
- The producers offered cameo roles in the film to Elias Koteas (the first actor to play Casey Jones on screen) and Sam Rockwell (who played the gang leader), but both declined the offer.
