Short description
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

- Animators added scratches and scuffs to the toys to show their age.
- The voiceover in the television commercial was performed by Michael Peter Balzary, known as “Flea,” the bassist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- The television announcer in the commercial spoke with the voice of Michael Peter Balzary, known as 'Flea,' the bassist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- The idea of Gabby Gabby as an unsold toy with a voice problem originated at Pixar even before the *Toy Story* franchise; she was once intended to be used in a never-made sequel to John Lasseter’s *Tin Toy* (1988), but there she would have been an evil plush bear. This character eventually became Lotso, the main antagonist in *Toy Story 3* (Lee Unkrich, 2010).
- Director Josh Cooley and producers Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen held a blind audition to find the voice actor for Duke – they simply played lines of Duke’s dialogue recorded by Canadian voice actors. They didn’t know who voiced which line. When they heard Reeves voicing the character, they immediately stopped the audition, deciding they had found the right person.
- Over 10,000 unique items were recreated for the scenes in the antique shop, with the team sourcing prototypes from all over the country. This took more than two years.

- Wilkins’ appearance at Pixar was chosen from around a hundred different options. Ultimately, they selected a fairly simple design using items that could be found in the trash.
- The idea of Gabby Gabby as an unsold toy with voice problems originated at Pixar even before the Toy Story franchise itself; it was once intended for an unproduced sequel to John Lasseter's short film 'TinkerToys' (1988), though in that version, the character would have been an evil teddy bear. - Fleeing the Bensons, the toys run past an old box with the word Pixar on it. This is a vintage graphics computer developed by the company when it was still part of Lucasfilm. This image is used as a logo in some of Pixar's older shorts.
