Short description
In New York City for their annual tradition of Christmas Eve debauchery, three lifelong best friends set out to find the Holy Grail of Christmas parties since their yearly reunion might be coming to an end.

- This is the third collaboration between Seth Rogen and Lizzy Caplan after the series "Freaks and Geeks" (1999) and the film "The Interview" (2014).
- This is the second collaboration between Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and director Jonathan Levine after the film "50/50".
- Prior to this film, Anthony Mackie and Michael Shannon co-starred in "8 Mile" (2002).
- This is the second film where Seth Rogen did not co-write the screenplay with Evan Goldberg. The first was "Hall Pass" (2011).
- Both Anthony Mackie and Michael Shannon have appeared in films based on comics. Mackie in "Captain America" based on Marvel comics, and Shannon in "Man of Steel" based on the competing DC comics.
