Short description

In a post-apocalyptic world, a warrior wandering through the desert comes upon a group of settlers who are being menaced by a murderous gang that is after the water they control.

What's left behind the scenes

The shipwreck, partially buried in the desert, is that of the cargo ship Eduard Bohlen, which wrecked off the Skeleton Coast in Namibia in 1909.
The film was shot in the Deadvlei desert, located within the Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia.
The film features a land yacht called the Wind Racer.
The city was named "Meridian" after the Third World War.
The film is often compared to "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior." Brian May, who composed the music for the film, also wrote the music for "Mad Max" and "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior."
