Short description

Ten short pieces directed by ten different directors, including Ken Russell, Jean-Luc Godard, Robert Altman, Bruce Beresford, and Nicolas Roeg. Each short uses an aria as soundtrack/sound, and is an interpretation of the particular aria.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Federico Fellini was initially promised participation in the film during the pre-production stage, but due to illness, the master was unable to participate in the filming.
  • Woody Allen was initially considered as a director for the film, but he declined due to a demanding work schedule on other projects.
