Short description
Fifteen-year-old Mia is in a constant state of war with her family and the world around her. When she meets her party-girl mother’s charming new boyfriend Connor, she is amazed to find he returns her attention, and believes he might help her start to make sense of her life.
What's left behind the scenes
- This is Katie Jarvis's debut role. The assistant director, in charge of casting, spotted her arguing with her boyfriend on a train platform and offered her the part.
- The film was shot in chronological order, and the actors were given only the portion of the script pertaining to what was to be filmed the following week (so no one knew in advance what would happen to their character).
