Short description
Military men Rock Reilly and Eddie Devane are tasked with taking a prisoner, blonde bombshell Toni Johnson, on what becomes an unforgettable road trip. Toni, an enlistee who's in trouble for deserting her unit, soon proves that she's craftier than most inmates.
What's left behind the scenes
- Interior scenes of the Navy offices and warehouse were filmed on the grounds of the 'Square D' facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Employees of the facility were used as extras.
- The ship passing under the bridge in the climactic scene is the USS CARR (FFG 52).
- At the beginning of the film, a strong emphasis is placed on the fact that, according to established laws, a female prisoner must be escorted by women. However, at the end, when she is handed over to the custody of the Navy, she is again accompanied by two men.
- When Eddie returns to the hotel room drunk, a microphone reflection can be seen in the mirror.
- Towards the end of the film, in the bar scene, Rock's beer and cigarettes appear and disappear with each cut.
- When the van starts to roll backwards off the volcano on the miniature golf course, a metal rod holding it up can be seen underneath.
